General Purpose of Position: As part of the management team, the Sales Assistant Manager works directly with the Store Manager to ensure the responsibilities of day-to-day management and sales goals of the retail store are being met. Administation Office

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

Bookkeeper

General Purpose of Position
Racquet & Jog / Tyler’s is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounts Payable clerk to work in our Administrative office in Bullard, Texas. Position is full-time, hourly paid starting at $17.00 an hour.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Reviews billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any discrepancies.
  • Facilitates payment of vendors, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities and shortages, and issues purchase order amendments and past due notices as needed.
  • Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
  • Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable.
  • Routinely communicates with buyers, vendors and company stores.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Must be able to enter data accurately and efficiently into computer software and systems
  • Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate percentages)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent time management with ability to meet deadlines
  • Multi-tasking
  • Sage (Preferred) or other Accounting software
  • Google Drive / Google Docs

Education/Experience

. HS Diploma or equivalent, plus previous Accounting/Financial experience.
